This doesnt fit the vehicle based on the information you provided. I don't blame Slate for any of this-this is one of VERY few choices for trying to stop all the 'why should I buy it when I can STEAL it?' pukes out there. Its your call.
#PACEAP DRIVER INSTALLER SOFTWARE#
I believe Pace makes the hardware, and iLok handles software management-I'm not sure whether they're divisions of the same company or not, but they are not in sync. Let me know if this helps. So all this suggests that is out of sync on the latest ilok2 driver. 'cannot communicate with core component download latest driver from and re-install' I would have never picked up on this until I noticed the balloon msg in my system tray (which disappears before you can read it all) I could revert to vcc beta 2.5 and work fine.ĭOWNLOAD A NEW ILOK2 DRIVER FROM, NOT ILOK.COM. I have a very similar setup (win7 圆4, cubase 5.5 32-bit) and I had EXACTLY the same issue-all my other plugs transferred to my ilok2 (along with Waves, Trigger, etc) and my beta vcc license, and everything will initialize EXCEPT for Vcc 1.x. It almost has to be system related, but for the life of me I cannot work out where. I am further guessing the iLOK2 is on it's own port? I have had problems with iLOK in the past on a powered hub (apparently the hub is USB1 only, and that is not good) with it not initializing properly.
#PACEAP DRIVER INSTALLER LICENSE#
Tests were done with Nuendo 5.1.1, in both 64-bit and 32-bit modes and in each case the VCC license was correctly detected and the plugins loaded.ĭo you think it is worth taking a look at the Service Pack for W7 圆4? I know it's installed on our W7 system here and there seem to be no issues so far, again running Nuendo 5 & WaveLab 7 (fully updated in both cases).
#PACEAP DRIVER INSTALLER FULL#
1.01 & 1.05 (not tried 1.06 yet) on my iLOK2 on both the XP/32bit system, as well as the full Windows 7 64-bit rig (i7 powered too). I say this as I just tested here using 1.0. Why do you put up with dongles? That's so 80s.Not a very helpful comment, has to be either a specific issue to your system, or something has got corrupted somewhere. Very curious if there are others on Win7 X64 that experience the same issue in Cubase 6 or WL7?
#PACEAP DRIVER INSTALLER INSTALL#
I did a whole new clean install of my system yesterday and the issue remains. Don't know wether this is protection layers in the VCC, or ilok, but Pace says there is nothing wrong with the current driverinstaller download on their site. Again no issues with other plugings on the ilok2 or VCC beta 2.5Īs u can imagine, doing this whole circus in order to get VCC working is unacceptable. So something is VERY wrong with either the ilok2 plugin handling in my setup, or with VCC in this specific combination. So, by removing, re-installing, rebooting, plugging in the ilok2 and see the "installed new hardware balloon" i can get VCC to work up untill the next reboot. But VCC 1.0 says it can't find a valid iLOK license ?!? and crashes the DAW. If i don't do this all other plugs work (so does VCC 2,5 Beta) if i put it back. just dissabling and re-enabling in the windows system tab does not cut it. However V1 won't initialize, if i take out the ilok, re-install driversetup (from ilok site) and reboot, plug in my ilok and i see the detection baloon in the bottom right corner of the taskbar, VCC will work. Slate FG-X 1.1.2 (1.1.1 as the installer says)Įverything worked fine on iLok2 with VCC 2.5 BETA. On the iLOK2 i've got the following licenses: The system: i7 980 / ASUS x58 Mobo running Win7 圆4 with all updates, running Cubase 6 & WL7 with all updates.
